Osman Diril

I’m Osman Diril, born and raised in Istanbul before moving to the United States in 2021. What fascinates me most is capturing calm moments hidden inside the speed of life, the beauty that reveals itself when we slow down. Photography has been one of my greatest passions for as long as I can remember. It is the space where I can express my inner emotions and the point where what I feel and what I see in the world meet.

My journey started in 1995 with my father’s manual camera from 1970. That first experience opened a door, and it is never closed. During my university years, through photography clubs, competitions, and project-based work, I gradually discovered my authentic perspective. This is how Dirilography was born. Today, while continuing my corporate career, I also continue to photograph, driven by the constant curiosity that began with that old camera.
